Great Location, Friendly Communication

Spent one night here. Location is fantastic, room was quite OK and breakfast decent. Communication in advance was very good. I arrived after midnight and had to call so they could open the door remotely. After picking up the keys I went up to the rooftop and enjoyed the great nighttime view of the Acropolis. The room had a fridge, iron and tea/coffee facilities. All things I value a lot. I'm really quite happy with this place. All I would say is it has more of an Ikea-furnished Airbnb type vibe, rather than hotel.

Amazing. Perfect for football, mandatory coach meeting point.

Amazing. Can't recommend enough. Perfect location, clean, quiet, safe. Right next to Panathenaic Stadium (perfect if going to a football game and need to get mandatory coach). A pleasant 1 mile walk to the Acropolis. Debbie (anglicised version of her Greek name that I forgot) very friendly and even made me fresh fried eggs and bacon for breakfast. Lovely lady. Was only there 1 night but had a late flight next night. So the terrace at the top was a godsend. Chilled at the top for a few hours after sightseeing. Alone, was blissful. Where else in the world can you relax in the sun on the terrace and stare at one of the ancient wonders of the world? That was a great ending to a short but lovely trip. As I went to the airport totally relaxed after having a quick freshen up in their little restroom. I highly recommend this place.

On arrival there was no one at reception so taxi driver found a key under a mat and let us in! An envelope with our name, room number etc was waiting for us. Room was OK but bathroom was in desperate need of refurbishment. We would not stay again!

This is a nice hotel located next to the old Olympic stadium about 15 Mins walk from the Acropolis. The room we stayed in is large and it has clearly been well thought out and finished to a high standard when new. The receptionist who greeted us was very enthusiastic and even brought us 3 cans of beer and suggested we go to the roof top terrace to get a view of the Acropolis and it is fair to say we were very impressed. On closer inspection the next morning we noticed that the room whilst not dirty had only had a surface clean and not what my wife would call a proper clean. The room as a whole is modern and stylish although it lacks some privacy with as you are able to see into the room from both the stairwell and the seating area downstairs. The bathroom has 3 lights (see picture) which are part of the styling and 2 of them did not work and the drencher shower head was broken and mainly spilled water out of the side rather than through the head itself. We mentioned these issues to the receptionist in the morning who said that she would fix or get the owner to fix, neither of which happened during our 4 night stay. Incidentally the receptionists are different each day plus is only there early morning and appear to be the cleaner and cook for breakfast omelettes also, this was fine for us as independent travellers but may not suit all. Overall I would say that it was clearly a nice hotel initially but it looks to have dropped its standards, certainly in our room (room1) and the public areas that we used included the chipped and damaged furniture in the breakfast room, the roof terrace whilst amazing views has poorly completed workmanship to the flooring and lighting and throughout our whole stay there was a large water stain on the floor in reception that was never cleaned. It wouldn’t take much effort to put this hotel right and hopefully they will do this in the future as it is a shame.
